What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at Patterson Mold and Tool, LLC?
· GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This will be a part-time position with and assisting the office manager. Some of the duties will include knowledge of journal entries, work with accounts payable and receivables, interaction with customers, supervisors, employees, communicate on the phone with customers and others, assist with calling trucking companies when needed and other general office duties. The position will work approximately 24 hours per week, Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., no benefits.
Qualifications
1) Must have knowledge and experience in basic accounting processes
a. Accounts payable – 3-way match, invoice entry and payment processing
b. Accounts receivable – Invoicing and Cash Receipts
c. General journal entries
2) Proficient using Microsoft Excel and Word
3) ERP experience
4) Provide administrative support for multiple departments
5) Maintain filing system and other general office tasks
6) Possess excellent communication skills
7) Experience scheduling trucks for shipping a bonus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years working
Accounting degree helpful
