Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the receipt, storage, security, and issuance of materials and supplies from the operating inventory within a designated area. This role involves managing inventory records, conducting physical inventories, and ensuring compliance with all inventory control and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control & Management: Operate the warehouse inventory control system to ensure the accurate and up-to-date management of inventory. Maintain control of the inventory in accordance with management's instructions.
- Shipping & Receiving: Receive, check, and record shipments of materials and supplies to verify accuracy. Ensure shipments are in accordance with established shipping instructions.
- Issuance of Materials: Retrieve, record, and distribute supplies and materials as requisitioned by department members and approved by the department manager.
- Physical Inventory: Conduct weekly physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and providing detailed results to the Operations team.
- Security: Ensure the inventory area is always secure by keeping the area locked and adhering to all inventory security measures.
- Safety Compliance: Participate in safety meetings, hazard hunts, and follow Job Safety Analyses (JSA) procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions, or hazards.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping: Ensure all inventory transactions are recorded and documented, preventing pilferage and loss. Maintain proper documentation to ensure traceability and accountability of inventory.
- General Responsibilities: Follow all safety and operational instructions as provided by supervisory personnel and adhere to established company policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as required by the supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of well stimulation equipment.
- A working knowledge of inventory control practices and principles.
- Must possess organizational skills as required for completing alpha and numerical file maintenance.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must have the knowledge and ability to operate a forklift.
- Required to run parts as necessary and pass a satisfactory MVR review.
- Ability to understand and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employee to issue, received and respond to both safety and operations related directions in English.
Minimum Required Education
- H.S. Diploma
Minimum Required Work Experience
- 2-4 years inventory experience
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Driver's License Class - Required
