Essential Functions: What you’ll do:
- MOM personnel review all information on the order received from the Tech Department and confirms the start of production;
- Coordinate the quantity of materials and schedules the labor required to produce the signs related to the project;
- Coordinate with the Supervisors of the different departments, the methods and the production times;
- Identify any instances of errors, inconsistencies or missing information on job releases;
- Review and edit Job details – review the Bill of Operations and Bill of Material compared with art designs and technical drawings;
- Ensure that all shop operations, subcontract operations and material require to build the product are present on the job;
- Inform the Production Planner of any changes to orders;
- Creates inventory orders for signs and/or sign components;
- Liaison between Estimation department and MOM;
- Populate Methods of Manufacturing in ERP system;
- Spend time in the workshop to fully understand how products are made and ensure that orders are well structured and complete;
- Collaborate with manufacturing and estimating teams to identify appropriate manufacturing methods and always question the effectiveness of those methods.
Qualifications:
- High School/College degree in a construction-related field and/or experience in the signage field or equivalent;
- Appropriate knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel);
- Ability to analyze and understand plans/specifications/technical drawings;
- Written and spoken French/English mandatory;
- Ability to manage time and priorities, organization skills
