Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, with hands-on experience in production test, inspection, and troubleshooting following product documentation and / or automated test software.This role is crucial for ensuring that our electronic products meet the h ighest standards of performance and reliability. As an Electronics Technician, you will work closely with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic components and systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct production test and inspections on electronic devices using manual, automated and or semi-automated test procedures.
- Perform debugging of electronic circuits and systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Solder, rework and assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) using through-hole surface mount technology (SMT) techniques.
- Utilize precision tools such as oscilliscopes and meters for accurate measurements during testing, debugging and repair processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop testing protocols and improve product designs based on feedback from quality assurance evaluations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, results, and any modifications made to electronic assemblies.
- Provide technical support in troubleshooting issues related to electronic devices.
Skills
- Able to read and understand schematic diagrams and assembly drawings and be familiar with electronic components.
- Working knowledge of electronics and proficient with basic test equipment and hand tools used in electronics.
- Strong debugging skills with the ability to analyze complex electronic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of in-circuit programming.
- Proficient in soldering techniques in accordance with IPC-610, or equivalent.
- Able to work alone or in a work cell with other employees.
- Able to work sitting down and standing up.
- Self-motivated, a quick learner, have excellent communication skills, and be proficient with MS Office and Teams.
- Experience with quality control methodologies and quality assurance practices within the electronics industry.
