Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and construction painting, demonstrating proficiency with various hand tools and precision measuring instruments. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment while adhering to Lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Fabricate and assemble materials as needed for specific projects.
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely to transport materials and equipment within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial painting and construction painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments is essential for accurate application.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or machining environment is beneficial.
- Certification or training in forklift operation is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $15.50 - $22.50 per hour
