Position: Cloud Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Contract
Rate Range- $40-$60 /hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, Education, Geographic Location, and other factors)
Candidates MUST be LOCAL to Atlanta, GA
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Cloudwatch, Azure monitor, or Google cloud monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Desire to learn and stay up to date with new cloud technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with database management in the cloud.
