Position: Network Security Engineer
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid Remote)
Contract
Rate Range- $50-$65/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, Education, Geographic Location, and other factors)
Candidate MUST be local to Houston, TX
Job Description:
- Researches, designs, develops operates and maintains support services for existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions thorough integration of technical and business requirements per client IT process methodology (such as ITIL and ITSM).
- Very good knowledge on network, network security related technologies, tolls, processes and 2-4 years of working experience in the network security domain.
- Able to understand the complex enterprise network, network security architecture, processes, standards, policies and apply them in reviewing/validating the network connectivity/POR request process, help in improving the existing process to speed up the policy compliance check and the validation of submitted requests.
- Work with network operations team to coordinate, track, prioritize the implementation of approved network connectivity requests as necessary and coordinating with the requesters and Ops to resolve and connectivity issues associated with the implemented requests.
- Includes identification, development and prioritization of support services according to business criticality.
- Applications and information systems solutions include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, creation of documentation, support and maintenance of infrastructure and information systems.
Salary : $50 - $65
