Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Northwest Michigan is a full-service restoration & remodeling contractor, specializing in the mitigation and repair of damaged residential and commercial properties. We provide emergency response mitigation services, followed by total reconstruction of damage caused by water, fire, smoke and wind. We are an independently owned and operated company, part of the Paul Davis franchise system, which is the largest national network of full-service insurance restoration contractors.
The Estimator/Project Manager plays a very important role in the success of our company. You will often be the first response to disasters large and small, providing reassurance to the property owner, in addition to compiling a reliable and accurate report to the insurance industry. Our policy is to provide straightforward honesty and impeccable integrity to our customers, insurers and contractors.
Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrity at all times.

Market insurance to adjusters.

Attend community functions, chamber events, fund raising events and get involved in the communities.

Hire & terminate restoration technicians as needed.

Inspect losses, assist hands on with losses as needed, draft the scope of work and estimate in Xactimate.

Secure approved scope and price with insurance company and property owner.

Deliver necessary documents and maintain relationships with the insurance company, property owner and third party administrators as needed.

Maintain constant communication with the property owner & insurance company.

Prepare & administer work orders and schedule subs and employees.

Schedule the completed work orders to include: pre-construction, on-site meeting when appropriate, sequencing, timing, master scheduling and trades assignments.

Secure necessary permits and schedule inspections.

Inspect all assigned projects for progress and maintain detailed progress notes.

Maintain professionalism with project conditions, such as workmanship, homeowner relationship, safety, cleanliness and tradesman integration.

Manage job to speedy conclusion.

Professionally handle any and all complaints.

Manage punch list completion, obtain completion certificate and collect funds.
Highly qualified candidates will have a proven track record in customer service, estimating, construction management, sales, time management and leadership. Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are a must.
Pay rate $50,000 - $100,000
