Key Responsibilities:
- Emergency Response:
- Monitor news, alerts, and online platforms for active property losses
- Respond to or dispatch teams to secure emergency restoration work
- Assess damages and develop detailed restoration plans
- Create new loss documentation and estimates
- Obtain Emergency Work Authorization signatures
- Client and Team Leadership:
- Supervise emergency team members and foster a strong team culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during active losses
- Maintain communication with insurance agents, adjusters, and clients
- Ensure timely updates and superior customer service
- Marketing and Business Development:
- Promote PDR services across various insurance and industry networks
- Participate in local networking events, boards, and organizations
- Identify and share marketing leads with the sales and marketing team
- Follow up with previous clients who declined service
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of work, job status, and customer interactions
- Ensure safety compliance and adherence to PDR protocols
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- College degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year in Water, Fire, Smoke, or Construction restoration
- Understanding of the insurance claim process
- Certifications:
- IICRC Certified in Water, Fire & Smoke, Carpet Cleaning, and Applied Structural Drying
- Skills:
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Xactimate, Simbility, CRM systems, Outlook, and Excel
- Knowledge of building construction and restoration practices
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
- Physical & Schedule Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (must be maintained at all times)
- Able to work 40–70 hours/week, including rotating 24/7 on-call shifts
- Capable of climbing ladders, accessing roofs/attics, and working in hazardous environments (e.g., fire, mold, sewage)
Background Requirements:
No felony convictions within the past 7 years. No misdemeanor convictions involving intentional injury, property loss, or endangerment while under the influence.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
