Come work as an Job Cost Accountant (JCA) with Paul Davis Restoration and you too can become a Difference Maker. Our JCA will be responsible for monitoring and controlling job costs, importing/entering information into billing software and completing payments, and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. We are seeking a Professional, Hard Working, and Reliable individual to be part of our difference maker team!

Responsibilities:
- Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database.
- Assist in Invoice and bill gathering /recording.
- Perform day-to day accounts payable and entries.
- Plan and record variable costs (e.g., purchases of raw material and operations costs).
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Create accurate and timely invoices in accounting software.
- Daily deposit recording of checks and ACH payments received.
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- 3 years experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant, or similar role
- Experience withQuickBooks required
- Degree in Accounting preferred
- Computer literacy, MS Excel proficiency
- Understanding of GAAP
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with others
- Organized, well-spoken professional demeanor over the phone
- Strong time management skills and excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Work on tight deadlines and veryorganized
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
