What are the responsibilities and job description for the CHI Corporate Insurance Associate (4th - 7th Year) position at Paul Hastings LLP?
Paul Hastings' Chicago office is seeking a Corporate Associate with four to seven years of experience in insurance industry transactions, primarily reinsurance involved in M&A and Private Asset transactions, to join its M&A Group. Associates will join a dynamic team with a practice that includes representation of insurers, reinsurers, banks, investment managers, private equity sponsors and other financial institutions in connection with transactional matters for the insurance industry.
Candidates must have experience handling reinsurance transactions. A good understanding of insurance company regulation and effective deal management skills are crucial. Creative thinking, client satisfaction-oriented mindset and ability to take on high level of responsibilities and work with autonomy are key. Candidates are expected to quickly move into business development roles.
Candidates must be admitted to the Illinois Bar and be in good standing. U.S. law firm experience and outstanding academic credentials are required. Please submit a cover letter, resume, deal sheet, and law school transcript.
The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $310,000 and a maximum of $420,000 (annually). The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
