We're on the hunt for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Driver Recruiting Processor / Onboarding Specialist.
As our Driver Recruiting Processor / Onboarding Specialist , you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring we bring the best driving talent on board. Your mission is to ensure every driver applicant meets our company standards and DOT regulations by verifying their employment history.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to for collecting and processing all the vital documents, from past employment records and verifying driving experience. With your eagle eye for detail, you'll make sure everything lines up perfectly with our policies and the Department of Transportation guidelines.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Recruiting Team : to assist in sourcing, recruiting, and qualifying applicants.
- Process and qualify applicants : Qualified Drivers' change status based on Safety Risk Management criteria. Verification of prior employment, confirm the applicant’s previous driving experience as part of the driver qualification process and employment history to ensure it meets the requirements set by Company policies and DOT Regulations
- Enhance efficiency : Reduce the time Safety spends reviewing applications by consistently providing high-quality applicant files.
- Track and update ensure compliance : Use Tenstreet and other platforms to monitor and update all applicant information, application data, review information providers in the driver’s application to ensure it aligns with Safety Risk Management (SRM) standards and check reports from third-party sources that provide additional data on the applicant’s driving history, safety record, and other relevant qualifications.
- Effective time management : managing driver files is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and compliance. Properly managing Driver Files ensures that all necessary documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and readily accessible, which helps streamline the qualification process and reduces delays. Ultimately, good time management in this area contributes to a smoother workflow, better decision-making, and a more effective recruitment process.
Efficiently managed files also support compliance with regulatory requirements, such as those set by the U.S. Department of Transportation, by ensuring that all driver qualifications and certifications are in order. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s tracking systems is key, as is acting as the liaison between applicants, recruiters, and management to provide updates and resolve any issues. By analyzing gathered information, you support recruiters in making informed hiring decisions, ensuring that only qualified candidates move forward
