Looking for a Sr. UX Designer. This is a Contract to Hire role in Lisle, IL.
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
- Expert-level Figma skills, including:
- Advanced component system usage
- Efficient prototyping
- Advanced vector work
- Deep organizational skills within Figma files
- Must present your portfolio along with a resume for submittal
- Experience working with a Design System
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and provide fresh solutions.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in team settings.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders in working sessions and workshops.

- Experience in Transportation Sales or Logistics industry.
- Ability to facilitate design discussions and workshops.

What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)
- Lead UX Design Efforts: Own the UX design process, creating and refining user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.
- User Advocacy: Make space for and advocate for user needs through usability testing, research, and empathy-driven design.
- Design System Management: Ensure consistency and scalability by utilizing and contributing to the design system.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align business goals and user needs.
- Iterative Problem-Solving: Tackle complex, undefined projects by synthesizing multiple inputs and feedback into cohesive design solutions.
- Facilitation & Presentation: Drive alignment through design facilitation and effective presentations to stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, providing insights and onboarding support for new team members.
