We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to guests at their tables.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery.
- Communicate with kitchen staff regarding order status, special requests, and any guest needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables as needed.
- Support banquet services during events by efficiently serving food and beverages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy periods.
- Provide assistance in food preparation when necessary, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
