Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key to your success in this position.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and special requests.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and promotional materials.
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, contributing to overall team success.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
