What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Personnel Coordinator position at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP?
The Legal Personnel Coordinator is an integral part of the firm’s Legal Personnel team and will support all aspects of the firm’s talent management processes. The Legal Personnel Coordinator will report directly to the Legal Personnel Associate Director, with the Director of Legal Personnel overseeing both positions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal personnel support for the firm’s smaller transactional departments.
- Support senior members of the legal personnel team in the orientation process for lateral hires and the new associate program.
- Support the Director of Legal Personnel and Legal Personnel Associate Director with the attorney compensation process.
- Support the Director of Legal Personnel and Legal Personnel Associate Director with various attorney evaluation processes.
- Support the Legal Personnel Associate Director with AWP administration.
- Responsible for tracking attorney bar admission and updating the attorney bar admissions database.
- Support senior members of the Legal Personnel team on special projects as needed.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in an HR capacity and preferably in a law or professional services firm;
- Proficient in Word and Excel. Outlook, Vi Eval, Lotus Notes a plus;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Outstanding interpersonal skills;
- Highly developed organizational abilities and attention to detail, with ability to keep meticulous records;
- Able to juggle and prioritize multiple work streams and work under pressure, including overtime, in a deadline-driven environment
This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
