Registered Nurse – Dialysis (Inpatient & Outpatient)

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in both inpatient dialysis settings within contracted healthcare organizations and outpatient dialysis settings at UW Health.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver Exceptional Care: Provide hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis to patients in critical care and outpatient settings.
- Educate and Empower: Teach patients and families about kidney disease and dialysis treatment options.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with physicians, dietitians, social workers, case managers, and technicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.

What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- At least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
- Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), ICU, or Med/Surg experience is required.
- Experience with both adult and pediatric patient populations.
- Licensure & Certification:
- Valid Wisconsin nursing license or compact state license.
- BLS & ACLS certification (must be through the American Heart Association).
- Valid driver’s license and current car insurance.
- Specialized Skills:
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation and ability to pass UW Health’s telemetry test (required for inpatient positions).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,550.00 - $2,650.00 per week
