Admissions Director Requirements:
- Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities including, but not limited to, planning educational lunches in and out of the building
- Meets with key referral sources e.g., Eldercare Attorneys, Senior Centers, Physician's offices, hospitals
- Researches physicians in our targeted area to partner with our facility
- Should be familiar with local area surrounding communities
- Sell and promote facility services
- Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition.
- Must have long-term care experience in admissions
- External liaison or nursing experience preferred
- Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management
- Respond to SWs at hospitals and other facilities about referrals
- Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO
- Familiar with PCC
- Sign admissions agreements
- provide facility tours
- Attend weekly UR meetings
Job Type: Full-time
Admissions Director Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Possible nights and weekends as needed
Admissions Director Education:
- BSN (Preferred)
Admissions Director Experience:
- Business development: 1 year (Preferred)
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Internal admissions: 1 year (preferred)
- Skilled Nursing Facility: 1 year (Must)
