Position Overview This role oversees all mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a union team focused on maintaining top operating conditions while managing within defined budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams in a large-scale manufacturing environment, overseeing mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery
- Develop and execute essential training programs for plant mechanics and electricians
- Manage mechanical and electrical maintenance operations while ensuring equipment uptime
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, maintaining a secure working environment
- Supervise maintenance labor and expense budgets
- Execute plant improvement projects and drive operational excellence initiatives
