Job Description
This newly created Master Production Scheduler role is critical in orchestrating the complex interplay between production processes, capacity constraints, and material availability. The successful candidate will be a key change agent implementing new systems while optimizing workflows, reducing costs, and enhancing overall business performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive production schedules to meet customer demands
Utilize MRP planning systems to generate accurate material requirements based on demand forecasts and inventory targets
Collaborate with production managers and engineers to optimize resource allocation and machine efficiency
Develop contingency plans to address capacity constraints and ensure uninterrupted production flow
Analyze production data and metrics to drive improvements in processes and workflows
Monitor material availability and inventory levels to mitigate risks of production disruptions
Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and logistics
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)
~5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related roles within a manufacturing environment
Proven track record managing production schedules, capacity planning, and material requirement planning
