The Project Manager will coordinate all phases of striping projects, including the coordination of materials and equipment, ensuring that specifications are strictly followed and that work is proceeding on schedule. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions of this position safely and satisfactorily.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develops comprehensive project plans that outline objectives, scope, timelines, and budgets. Create strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
· Assist with the management of the bid process, review proposals/project requirements and coordinate materials procurement.
· Ensure compliance with Company policies and federal/state laws; provide status updates and maintain documentation records.
· Identifies potential project risks and develops proactive risk mitigation plans. Addresses issues promptly to keep projects on track.
· Responsible for material requisition, submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change orders request for information, pay application support and close-out documents.
· Collaborate with Superintendent to allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize project productivity and deliver projects within budget.
· Plan, direct and coordinate activities of the designated projects with the President to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the project are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitations and budget.
· Determine methods and procedures for accomplishment of project, staffing requirements and allotment of funds to various phases of project.
· Develop project staffing plan and establish a project completion schedule.
· Confer with the President on situations that may arise and keep management well informed on the progress of the projects.
· Prepare change proposals, claims and change orders when situations arise that are not in the prescribed scope of work, and negotiate settlements with the owner or general contractor.
· Maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, and other key personnel to facilitate future business opportunities.
· Participate in rotating on-call schedule.
· Follows all company policies, procedures, and protocols.
· Perform all other duties and responsibilities as requested by the President.
· Participate in internal and external preconstruction planning and meetings.
· Review daily material usage for accuracy.
· Make daily pre-trip inspections of assigned truck and other assigned equipment.
· Assist, create, and maintain accurate project schedules and communicate them to to both internal and external stakeholders. Includes internal daily schedules.
· Maintain daily contact with Superintendent and other field management to ensure proper knowledge of projects assigned. Communicate any issues that arise on projects assigned.
· Assist with the collection of project revenue receivables.
· Assist and attend final project inspections. Secure and send final project documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
· Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent. Five (5) or more years’ work experience in a project manager role will be accepted in lieu of a diploma or equivalent certificate.
· Minimum of one (1) year work experience with a State Department of Transportation (DOTD experience preferred)
· Valid driver’s license
· Must meet Fleet Policy driver eligibility requirements to be a company sanctioned driver.
· Successful completion of the pre-employment process including a criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report (MVR).
· Available for on-call needs as requested.
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
