Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise School-Based Therapists across up to six schools, ensuring the delivery of behavioral health services on all Tiers (1-3).
- Communication & Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with school administration, Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), and Paving the Way MSI. Collaborate on school-wide initiatives. Cultivate effective relationships with DC school system and Department of Health (DOH) representatives. Treat colleagues with respect and use appropriate feedback channels.
- Training & Crisis Support: Train therapists on evidence-based interventions and provide support during school-related crises. Guide individual and group therapy sessions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate documentation, including supervision logs and reports. Monitor compliance with program standards.
- Professional Development: Participate in required training, engage with the organization’s Community of Practice, and meet regularly with schools to address needs.
- Performance Evaluation: Prepare monthly performance reports and participate in evaluation activities with DBH and external evaluators.
- Supervisory Compliance: Ensure compliance with supervisory requirements, including training and cultural competence. Submit monthly logs of supervision activities.
- Required: Master’s degree in social work or counseling.
- Required License: LPC/LICSW
- Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in outpatient mental health services for youth and/or adults.
