An Asphalt Construction, Restoration, & Maintenance contractor has opened multiple positions for qualified Asphalt Professionals/Laborers familiar with Paving, Compacting, Luting, Raking, Shoveling, Seal Coating, Line Striping & Crack Filling to assist our crews in completing projects and contracted work for both commercial and residential job sites.

Here are a few details about the position and Key Responsibilities:
Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
Maintains a current Driver’s License as required.
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
Follow the direction of the Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
Assist construction/paving crew with various duties such as; paving/running screed, shoveling, raking, compacting, luting, running wheelbarrow, safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver, and handling of materials at road construction projects.
Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials.
Run small power tools such as a jackhammer, hand saw, and jumping jack.
Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials.
Stand for long periods of time performing manual labor near hot asphalt in hot weather.
Lifts, carries, and holds materials, tools, and supplies.
Walk alongside the paver to shovel and rake areas of asphalt that require leveling.
Assists in the placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.
Must be capable of performing duties near traveled roadways and live traffic lanes.
Must load, unload, and properly clean tools and equipment.
Routinely assists other team members in different areas of the project.
Must move and deliver tools, equipment, and materials to locations throughout the job site.
Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance in a flexible work schedule.
Must be available to travel and work at multiple construction sites within your geographic region.
May perform other duties including but not limited to operating equipment.
Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors, and the general public.
