Job Summary
Paw Paw Landscape & Irrigation is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Technician to join our growing team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. If you have experience with irrigation systems, a strong work ethic, and a passion for landscaping, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Install new irrigation systems, including piping, valves, controllers, and sprinkler heads.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, including leaks, controller malfunctions, and broken sprinkler heads.
- Perform routine maintenance, seasonal startups, and winter blowouts.
- Adjust and program irrigation controllers for optimal water efficiency.
- Work with customers to assess their irrigation needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system layouts.
- Operate tools and equipment, including trenchers, pipe cutters, and wire locators.
- Ensure all work meets company and industry safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in irrigation system installation and repair (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of different sprinkler brands (Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, etc.).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues efficiently.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
