Pawnee Mental Health Services is a private, not-for-profit community mental health center dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to strengthen the wellness of our communities. Operating across 10 counties in North-Central Kansas, we provide a full range of psychotherapy, crisis services, medication management, and substance abuse recovery services to over 7,000 adults, adolescents, and children every year. Pawnee is the only provider in our service area that welcomes anyone in need of mental health services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year – regardless of their insurance, status as a client, or ability to pay. The Role You Play
As a Crisis Case Manager, you’ll play a critical role in delivering community-based crisis interventions to individuals wherever they are, including their homes, workplaces, or other locations. You’ll also collaborate with hospitals, behavioral health providers, law enforcement, and other agencies to provide the necessary support.
In this role, you will assist in emergency department and justice system diversions, work as part of a two-person team, and provide crisis intervention in a variety of settings.
Respond to individuals in crisis wherever they are, without restricting services to specific locations or times of day.
Follow up with clients to ensure services were provided in a timely and effective manner.

This role requires flexibility in scheduling and adaptability in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. You’ll need excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to succeed in this role.
