Job description
We are looking for an individual that has previous exposure working as kennel technician in animal healthcare. The ideal candidate loves cats and dogs, is able to follow pre-established procedures, and wants to learn new skill sets after mastering the current job requirements of this position. Additionally, we are looking for a candidate that enjoys working in a customer service oriented environment, understands the importance of good communication, and holds team work in the highest regard.
General duties include:
- Ensuring hospital organization through cleaning and restocking activities.
- Assisting Hospital Technicians primarily through proper holding/restraint of patients, and appointment readiness.
- Assessing patients for behavioral indicators to ensure a safe working environment.
- Providing care to pets staying with us for extended periods of time throughout the day including; walking, feeding/watering, and documenting treatment.
- Performing baths, nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland expressions.
- Helping with other duties as requested

Previous experience is preferred but not required.
