Paws for A Cause Vet Care is a nonprofit full-service veterinary clinic on a mission to remove financial barriers to veterinary care by making it accessible and affordable for everyone. Located in Naperville, Illinois, we operate a 16,000-square-foot full-service veterinary clinic.

We have 7 Full-Time veterinarians on staff and are looking to add to our talented team.
We are looking for a compassionate Veterinarian to join our team, helping pet owners make informed decisions while ensuring pets receive the highest standard of care.
Wellness Veterinarian
Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and treat a variety of sick cases, chronic conditions, and acute illnesses, including diabetes management, gastrointestinal issues, dermatology, and more.
· Perform thorough physical exams and develop customized treatment plans for each patient.
· Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease, thyroid disorders, and other long-term conditions, including client education and ongoing treatment adjustments.
· Perform routine procedures such as ear cleanings, wound care, and minor surgical procedures when necessary.
· Prescribe and administer medications, monitor treatment plans, and provide follow-up care.
· Work closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
· Educate clients on pet health, disease prevention, and treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their pets’ well-being.
· Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory guidelines.
· Collaborate with other veterinarians and departments within the clinic to ensure seamless patient care, including surgery, dentistry, and emergency services when needed.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois (or able to obtain a license).
- 2-3 years of experience in wellness care,
- Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate veterinary care.
Work Schedule:
- 4-day work week, Monday-Friday.
- Rotate one Saturday per month from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
- No nights, no holidays, and no after-hour emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $130,000 to $148,000 (DOE).
- 36-40: hour work week
- Signing Bonus: $5,000 after the first six months.
