Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for spaying and neutering, animal care and assisting in veterinary procedures in high volumes.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other procedures
-Handle a large quantity of surgery packs maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments
- Perform basic laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood tests
- Administer medications under the direction of a veterinarian
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal handling or veterinary settings
- Knowledge of animal physiology and basic medical terminology
- Ability to handle dogs, and cats with care and compassion
- Strong communication skills with both clients and team members
- Certification as a Veterinary Assistant is a plus, but not required

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25.5 per week, up to 34 per week
