About the role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fraud Operational Associate Manager to lead operational efforts within our fraud and claims program. This role plays a key part in identifying, preventing, and responding to fraud activities, particularly in areas like credit card fraud and weak KYC/EDD processes-where fraud risk is heightened in the logistics payment industry.
As a team supervisor, you'll ensure the effective execution of fraud recovery efforts, claims handling, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Your leadership will also support cross-functional collaboration, continuous process improvement, and talent development within the team.
As the Fraud Operational Associate Manager, you will:
- Supervise an operational team within the fraud and claims program, focusing on proactive fraud identification, prevention, and detection.
- Manage and oversee the execution and recovery of fraud claims and ensure accurate case handling.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and fraud risk control enhancements.
- Resolve workflow distribution issues and provide guidance under the direction of the Fraud Director.
- Develop and maintain performance standards and training materials aligned with internal policies, PCI compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Finance, Product, Customer Experience) to strengthen fraud prevention strategies.
- Oversee EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) completion and provide support where necessary.
- Monitor fraud trends related to credit card activity, platform vulnerabilities, and high-risk customer profiles.
- Ensure consistency and quality in operational execution while mentoring and supporting team members' growth.
- Assist in talent acquisition and development for the operational fraud team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of fraud operations management experience
- 1 years of direct leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with PCI compliance and credit card fraud investigation
- Familiarity with fraud scenarios common in digital payment platforms, especially in high-risk areas like KYC/EDD
- Strong understanding of EDD protocols, fraud prevention tools, and industry risk indicators
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative mindset
- ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners) certification is a plus
- Experience in logistics, fintech, or B2B payment systems
- Proficiency in case management tools, fraud detection platforms, and data analysis
