Paychex is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Investor Relations to lead and manage the company's investor relations program. The Director of Investor Relations will play a critical role in fostering strong relationships with the investment community, ensuring accurate and timely communication of financial information, and enhancing the company's reputation and visibility in the financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and executing the Investor Relations program that accurately reflects the company's strategic value proposition and enables the most effective two-way communication between the company, the financial community, and other constituencies and stakeholders, which ultimately contributes to achieving fair valuation for the company's securities.
- Prepares and communicates financial results, key performance metrics, and strategic initiatives to shareholders, analysts, and investors through press releases, earnings calls, investor presentations, and other channels.
- Coordinates the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, scripts, and presentations.
- Leads the creation of periodic feedback reports about the company's stock price, relative stock price, brokerage analysts' estimates and perceptions, oral perceptions and opinions from analysts and investors, industries and peer company performance, and the stock market.
- Prepares and maintains investor relations reports, including ownership analysis, peer benchmarking, and investor sentiment analysis.
- Monitors industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide senior management with insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Leads IR staff selection, training and development, goals, performance, and compensation. Provides effective leadership for the investor relations team, including management and mentoring to assist employees to grow and develop in their careers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field - Required
- in MBA or CFA - Preferred
- 7 years of experience in Investor Relations.
