Service Advisor - Independent Automotive Service Shop

Payless Service is looking for an experienced Service Advisor that understands customer service, is tech-savvy, and has basic knowledge of vehicles and parts. We are a very busy shop with 16 lifts and 8-10 full-time technicians.

As a service advisor your core duty consists of:

• Selling vehicle service to customers
• Ordering part for open repair orders
• Building new estimates using the flat rate book guides
• Dispatching jobs to technicians
• Answering phone calls and greeting customers as they arrive
• Booking appointments for customers and managing the technician's workload
• Making sure shop is consistently supplied with shop supplies
• Closing out repair orders and collecting payments from customers
• Managing the overall service operation

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• Submitting ESC Claims with companies like UCC and Ally: 1 year (Preferred)
• Parts Ordering through NAPA, Car Quest, and O'rielly's: 1 year (Required)
• Service writing: 1 year (Required)
• Mitchell Shop Software: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
