Starting Salary: $2,622.00 (non certified), $2907.00 (certified)
The Payne County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an outstanding individual for Glencoe deputy positions. The ideal candidate is a person who is committed to public service and making a positive impact on the community. These individuals should have integrity, leadership, service, and professionalism.
As a Payne County Sheriff’s Office Glencoe Deputy, you will handle emergency and non-emergency calls for service, warrant service, district court, transporting inmates to and from other agencies, working courthouse security, and enforcing traffic and criminal laws.
Minimum Requirements:
· 21 years or older
· Valid Oklahoma Driver License
· No Felony Convictions
· No convictions of crimes of moral turpitude or domestic violence
· No DUI, DWI or reckless driving violations in the past 5 years
· No pending criminal charges
· Must be able to pass a background check
· Must pass pre-employment Drug Screening
Preferred but not required:
· C.L.E.E.T. certified
