Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our First Party Property team in our Orlando office. This full-time role is essential to supporting our attorneys in all stages of property insurance litigation, from pre-suit preparation through trial. You’ll assist in drafting legal documents, coordinating discovery, managing deadlines, and helping ensure each client’s case progresses efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses
- Conduct thorough document review of insurance policies, inspection reports, and claim records
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all relevant information is up to date and easily accessible
- Perform legal research and cite-checking to support attorneys with litigation strategy
- Track deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements to keep cases on schedule
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel regarding case progress and discovery
- Assist attorneys with deposition and trial preparation
Qualifications
- Strong background in legal document preparation and review
- Experience supporting litigation cases, ideally in First Party Property or insurance law
- Proficiency in legal research and case management systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Paralegal certification or degree in Paralegal Studies preferred
