What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Officer position at Payroll X?
Our client is a leading accounting firm seeking a Payroll Officer based in Sydney CBD on a 3 month FTC. You will provide accurate and timely processing of our client's payroll, including assisting in payroll preparation, completing
reports, and maintaining records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in preparing and accurately processing the end-to-end payroll process
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll tax, superannuation, and PAYG processes, month-end reporting.
- Processing new starters and terminations.
- Processing wage increases and calculating back payments where required.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years experience in Payroll
- Demonstrated experience in payroll processing high-volume
- Knowledge of employment-related taxation, superannuation, salary sacrificing, and workers' compensation issues.
- Experience with ADP is highly desirable
