What are the responsibilities and job description for the GIS Field Worker - Part-Time position at Payson City?
DUTIES: Under supervision and direction of the GIS Coordinator, develops, maintains and updates various coverage and database layers of the City's Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Experience: Basic knowledge of Geographic Information Systems and GPS equipment helpful. Basic experience with ArcGIS is helpful. Licenses/Certifications: A valid State of Utah Driver's License.
SALARY: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience. No benefits.
SCHEDULE: Approximately 1050 hours a year. Schedule will be flexible to accommodate school schedules. Applicants must be available for training and work between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday. Preference will be given to those applicants who are able to commit 1 or more years to the city.
