We are seeking a talented Quant Programmer to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of calculations serving the Enterprise Risk Project as well as the needs of the business
- Specifically
- Mark to Market
- Risk
- VAR
- Work with the commercial risk group to carry out analyses
- Collaborate with commercial stakeholders on organizational needs
- Support system and ensure compliance
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Proven experience with OOP languages (Java, C , VB.NET)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Excellent complex problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with R, Matlab, or Python
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the physical sciences, engineering, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in software development preferably in the energy trading and/or refining industry or 3 plus years with advanced degree including post graduate research and/or industrial experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Visio)
- A deep knowledge of software engineering including object oriented software design
