Responsibilities
- Properly set up packaging equipment and components in accordance with SOPs and assigned batch record.
- Following assigned standard operating procedure (SOP) and batch records, work with the assigned packaging team to properly operate packaging equipment and manual operations to include labelers, heat sealers, tape machines, tablet counters, and semi-automatic filling equipment.
- Follow approved SOP to clean and operate the packaging equipment such as bottle descrambler, desiccant inserter, cotton inserter, metal detectors, induction sealer, and semi-automatic liquid fillers.
- Complete assigned training, including SOPs and hands-on training, required for CGMP compliance with packaging operations.
- Receive and verify critical packaging components from Quality Assurance and verify correct quantities and lots of bulk products.
- Record and document all data to accurately reflect the process times and packaging of a product lot and sign off on batch cards in accordance with cGMP's.
- All other tasks as requested or assigned.
- High school diploma or GED-equivalent required.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in an FDA/CGMP manufacturing facility preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook preferred.
- Self- motivated, driven, detailed-oriented.
