Job Description
The Managing Director of Architecture and Engineering will oversee all client relations, including project team performance and overall client satisfaction. This individual must have extremely strong interpersonal skills, with a confident yet personable demeanor.
Your Impact
- Strategic: The Managing Director will be a key contributor to further defining and guiding the strategic plan throughout the regional geographic area.
- Operational: The Managing Director will be responsible for the delivery of services, the development of culture, and the execution of processes within the offices.
- Marketing/Business Development: The ability to establish and develop relationships with potential clients is essential.
- Management/Leadership: The Managing Director will promote a support structure to further develop the abilities of the staff.
- Prior K-12, Higher Education, Civic, Higher Education and/or Healthcare market sector experience is required.
- Must be a Registered Architect in the state of residence.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the architectural profession, including at least 10 years managing project teams and processes.
- Stand and sit for extended periods, use hands to manipulate tools or equipment, and talk and hear.
- Drive an automobile. A driver's license and proof of insurance are required.
- Lift and/or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
- Occasionally work with the Firm's third-party IS support vendor after normal working hours to support software updates or assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Works in outside weather conditions and is exposed to fumes, airborne particles, loud noises, and potentially hazardous conditions typically associated with facility construction activities.
- The noise level in the work environment is quiet.
