General Function and Job Duties:
Shoot and edit content for WTVI while providing assistance in other areas as needed.

Characteristics Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Produces innovative video productions/promotional segments.

2.Researches, shoots video and edits broadcast content to PBS creative and technical standards.

3.Handles encoding, transferring and formatting of video for broadcast, social media, and web applications.

4.Assists in running studio camera, teleprompter and character generator as needed.

5.Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution and or three years of shooting and editing experience for a television station preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
Superior videography skills, knowledge of Sony Fx7 and ex3 cameras

Proficient in technical evaluation that meets national distributor guidelines

Strong editing skills of Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop

Ability to interact with the community at all levels

Superior communication skills

Conditions of employment:

Salary for this position is $41,600 - $54,127. Pay grade for this position is I. Initial placement for new employees is customarily at entry level through 25% percentile. Contract type is Professional. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours, evening and weekend assignments may be required of any position. All positions are subject to budget approval.
