About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our highly skilled team. This role is crucial in driving our continued growth and maintaining our reputation for excellence in facility management.
What you will do:
- Oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of PBS Facility Service's offerings, including janitorial, maintenance, and specialized services
- Lead the setup of new operational sites, including the development and implementation of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for newly acquired locations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
- Manage and mentor team leaders across various service departments
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for service expansion
- Collaborate with executives to develop long-term strategies for company growth and innovation
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
- Oversee budget management for operational activities
- Coordinate with other departments such as HR, Finance, and Sales to ensure smooth overall business operations
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or related field
- 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in facility services or related industries.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in operations management software and MS Office suite
- Demonstrated experience in setting up new operational sites, including developing and implementing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for newly acquired locations.
- Familiarity with New Jersey state regulations related to facility service.
- Proven experience managing and working with unionized employees, including understanding of union contracts and labor relations

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
