Project Sales Representative

Description

Primary Function:

Redeem annual booking plan in assigned markets and territory at company approved pricing standards. Develop assigned key accounts.

Bookings:

• Close total annual weighted sales at a minimum of ten (10) times (x) annual salary after completing the initial sales training program

Sales Skills:

• Qualify prospects, make effective sales presentations, answer questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner.
• Aggressively manage proposals to close sales.

Time Management:

• Plan and efficiently schedule appointments and manage personal time to ensure maximum productivity.

Surveys/Facility Assessment:

• Survey mechanical systems.
• Understand prospect’s needs and problems.
• Determine repair, modification and/or maintenance requirements to provide prospects with solutions to problems.
• Interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions.

Engineering:

• Provide modification/repair/replacement recommendations and document these so the customer and the operations department understand what is required

Pricing:

• Estimate cost of proposed repair/modification/replacement and apply company pricing standards to the estimate

Account Expansion:

• Understand customer cost to own, operate, and maintain facilities’ mechanical system. Translate that
• understanding into proposals and sales that will enhance customer’s facility while reducing long-term owning and operating costs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, preferably in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications and able to quickly learn and effectively utilize both company-specific and commercial software applications
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive business relationships
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Adhere to all company policies as listed in the employee handbook
