Join our enthusiastic team as a Talent Hunter and play a crucial role in shaping our company's future. You'll be on the front lines, sourcing top-tier candidates, building meaningful connections, and enhancing our hiring strategies. You will have the option of joining our growing presence in either the North Florida or Atlanta Georgia region, and you’ll be staffing some of the nation’s most complex water and wastewater projects throughout our southern market. In this role, you’ll lead the talent acquisition and recruitment process for our water market, collaborating closely with the Recruiting and Training Manager as well as hiring managers. You will implement effective recruiting strategies, guiding candidates through the hiring process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience before their first day. We’re looking for someone with a degree in a related field and either four years of recruiting experience or eight years of relevant experience. Strong verbal, written, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Experience in recruiting water construction professionals is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create requisitions for open positions, in partnership with executives and hiring managers.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and needs of the company.
- Write recruitment ads and place advertisements for all open positions on social and other appropriate media.
- Serve as the main contact for recruitment inquiries and sourcing, including both internal and external candidates.
- Source and evaluate resumes for open positions, including both internal and external candidates; utilize LinkedIn and Indeed to source and build pipelines.
- Maintain written and verbal communication with all applicants throughout recruitment process.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews for both internal and external candidates.
- Utilize a pre-assessment inventory to evaluate hires for cultural fit based on job suitability.
- Follow PC’s interview and selection best practices and train interviewers.
- Organize and communicate interview structure and questions to interviewers.
- Lead post-interview evaluation meetings with interview team.
- Working in partnership with the hiring manager develop offer letters based on company policies and standards.
- Manage all aspects of onboarding for the candidates sourced by this position: ensure pre-employment drug screening and E-Verify process is complete; vehicles, computer, phones (when applicable), as well as cleaned and prepared workspaces upon their first day of employment.
- Lead onboarding efforts, including coordination for first days of employment, and send out welcome boxes.
- Continually evaluate applicant tracking system and on-boarding products, software, and methods to maintain best practices.
- Manage and educate PC employees on the referral programs.
- Conduct training for PC Employees on policies, procedures, means, and methods within your area of expertise.
- Develop and maintain PC’s presence on social media sites and on PC Construction’s website and Intranet.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Assist HR team members in the layout and design of marketing materials, flyers, postcards, brochures, and other materials; maintain recruiting supplies and inventory.
- Support the HR team with various projects as needed.
- Travel to career fairs and jobsites as needed.
