SUMMARY : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to support the growth of our multi-entity organization, which includes a technology company and two restaurants. This role involves managing all aspects of accounting, from transaction entry and bank reconciliations to payroll, sales tax compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing while ensuring accuracy and compliance across entities. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise, cloud-based tools, Microsoft Office 365, and third-party payroll systems. Excellent communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Base Pay and Compensation :
The Accounting Manager is an Exempt, salaried position and pays between $71,000 - $80,000 per year. This position is a full-time position and may require weekends and after hours.

Vacation Accrual Schedule
Vacation Accrual Schedule will follow these rates after 90 days of employment :
90 days from date of hire to 3 years – 10 days (3.34 hours per pay period)3 years to 5 years : 15 days (5 hours per pay period)Over 5 years : 20 days (6.67 hours per pay period)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements.Utilize accounting software for efficient record-keeping and reporting.Execute journal entries and manage all aspects of double-entry bookkeeping.Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary data and insights.Collaborate with corporate accounting team to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for multiple companies.Maintain accounts receivable by processing invoices, tracking payments, and managing collections.Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.Provide support during tax preparation and assist with any inquiries from external auditors.Process both bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.Manage the 401K retirement plan with third party administrator.Maintain organized finance department files.Ensuring compliance with Federal, State, local and any other financial, sales and VOIP tax reporting and regulatory requirements.Support and manage Telecom assets including but not limited to, tax compliance, collections, sales orders, and account changes within our service portals.Working closely and transparently with all external partners including third-party vendors and consultants, and CPA.Supervising the Accounting Team which includes hiring, training, setting goals, and managing.Creating SOP’s for positions within the accounting department.Reviewing and ensuring compliance with all contracts entered by the organization.Skills & Knowledge :
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and corporate accounting practices.Experience in financial report writing, with the ability to present complex information clearly.Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.Professional level verbal and written communications skills.Must be comfortable with new technology.Experience with all aspects of payroll and various payroll software.Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.Restaurant accounting experience a plus.Requirements : Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred with commensurate experience, accepted.A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.A minimum of 3 years of experience with managing employees.Must have experience with business accounting software (QuickBooks Enterprise) including software integrations.Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.In-depth understanding of the entire Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and proficiency in Excel including pivot tables.Disclaimer :
