Personal Support Caregiver

Job Summary
Seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individual with physical disability in their own home in Mankato. This is a bedshift, an ideal candidate would be someone that likes evening to night hours that would like to add PT hours typically 830pm to 1130pm or 12am. Also someone that won't mind driving to events out of town into the cities or other area (in state) then helping to bed after when these events occur ex: concerts etc.

Experience is not necessary just a desire to help and reliability, good personality type of person.

- Must work through an agency and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, Toiletries -(catherization/Bowel management), dressing, ROM, cleaning,
• Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed, (at hours other than typical bedshift times as needed).
• Assist with pets, cats
• Be physically able to manual transfer to bed from wheelchair and position client in bed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Follow verbal instructions from client

Requirements

• Knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with client
• Must be able to lift client safely and assist them with mobility challenges.
• A valid driver's license is required for transportation duties.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Pay: $20.25 - $21.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
