About the Role
As a Deburring Technician with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will work from drawings and/or written instructions and tool sheets to properly deburr parts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily deburring activities using a variety of hand tools and machinery.
- Regularly use a microscope to view, inspect, and deburr parts.
- Perform transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as necessary.
- Under supervision, use a microscope and other high-end measuring equipment to view and inspect parts.
- Ensure conformance of finished work to confirm compliance to tolerance and company specifications under supervision.
- With assistance, may perform other ancillary activities such as rework or repair of machined parts.
- May be required to load and operate a Tumbling machine or other simple equipment.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate or GED
- BOCES Machine Shop classes; or Skilled trade school graduate
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience in order of operations
- Inspection measuring equipment knowledge
- Blueprint reading skills
