Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the business valuations team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the business valuations practice.
- Review and approve valuation reports and ensure they meet industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their valuation needs and objectives.
- Conduct complex valuations for a variety of assets, including businesses, intellectual property, and financial instruments.
- Mentor and train junior staff in valuation methodologies and best practices.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and market conditions affecting valuation practices.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business valuations.
- Professional designations such as ASA, CFA, or CPA are strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of valuation principles, methodologies, and industry practices.
