What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA/Caregiver position at PCH?
Growing Home Care Agency in need of MALE caregiver for immediate start. The clients need assistance with ADL's including incontinent care, meal preparation, housekeeping services, errands like accompanying to doctors appointment. This is for a male bed bound client. Experience working with Hoyer Lift preferred.

Shift available:
Mon-Wed: 8am-6pm
Thurs-Fri: 8am-6pm
The right caregiver will need to have the following requirements:
**MUST BE RELIABLE AND TRUST WORTHY**
*MUST BE MATURE AND HONEST
*Have clean background
*Have current CPR and First AID
*Own reliable transportation
*TB test, physically cleared to work
* Experience working with seniors and dementia patients
*Must be professional and caring
*Must have experience working with dementia patients
The duties include:
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Assistance with grooming and bathing, transferring client
*Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
* Assistance with ambulation.
*Fall prevention an ambulation
*Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
*Medication and appointment reminder
Summary
As a PCA/Caregiver, you will be essential in delivering compassionate care and support to individuals in various settings, including group homes and assisted living facilities. Your core skills in caregiving will be complemented by premium skills such as first aid, patient observation, and dementia care. You will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their comfort and safety. Reporting to a nursing supervisor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring long-term care, while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
