This position is located at our Huntsville Business Office. We are adding a team member to support the daily functions of the business office supporting multiple organizations. The Sr. Costpoint Accountant will support functions such as billing, invoicing, accounts receivables, cash management, monthly closing, and financial reporting within the Deltek Costpoint accounting system. Planned tasks include but are not limited to :
- Manage Costpoint configuration, org setup, and permissions
- Perform all aspects of accounting processes as required
- Review and maintain project reports
- Document processes, procedures, and instruction documents
- Assist and train other members of the business office staff on Costpoint processes
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Provide support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve Costpoint related problems
- Assist with annual audits
- Performs monthly close activities including, but not limited to, GL reconciliation, journal entries, financial statements, processing revenue, and other reporting requirements
- Calculate indirect rates, cost pools, and allocations in Costpoint
