What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Acquisition Support Specialist - Secret Cleared position at PCI Government Services?
Responsibilities
- Close contracts by reconciling the committed, obligated, expended, and disbursed histories which involves extensive research on several systems this often includes tracing the contract through multiple mergers, organizational code changes, CS, CO, and COR/PM changes.
- Request property audits, respond to customer pricing requests, and prepare written disposition memos for completed, reportable audits.
- Issue Contract Deficiency Reports or DD1797 to ensure the contract record is complete and correct to assist DFAS.
- Review closed contracts to determine the availability of the minimum required documentation to initiate the closeout process and areas requiring additional coordination such as government furnished equipment, vendor equipment purchases, patents, data rights, material purchases, adjusted rates, etc.
- Coordinate with vendors to acquire required documentation as identified in the FAR to close a contract.
- Reconcile the financial distributions of the funds obligated to the contract and the financial disbursements made by DTRA and other government agencies such as DCMA.
- Identify discrepancies in the financial reports and implement steps to resolve data conflicts
- Develop and process documentation to balance the funds obligated and disbursed on a contract.
- Coordinate with the Financial Department to acquire funding to pay Final Invoices or validate payment of Final Vouchers by the vendor to DTRA.
Qualifications
- Must be located in the Huntsville, AL area to start working
- Secret Security Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience; Substitution: 4 years of work experience can substitute for degree
- Knowledgeable in techniques for researching solutions and organizing and collaborating with teams.
- Strong organization and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of and experience in the acquisition lifecycle, to include requirements development and/or procurement execution and contract administration.
- Knowledge of the Federal, DoD, and Army acquisition regulation and policies.
- Able to address and resolve complex acquisition/contracting problems.
- Current expertise in the acquisition and contracting processes involving weapon systems, services, supplies, and IT hardware, software, and services. (preferred)
Pay Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.EEO
