Park Kalamazoo is currently searching for outgoing personalities to join our team and help us meet our customer service objectives. This is a full-time position with benefits and a yearly performance-based bonus. The schedule for this position is Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm. The job duties are as follows: Patrols, monitors, and enforces public parking areas to enhance the experience of the public parking system through customer interaction. This position does require the ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. This position does require exposure to all weather elements. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
Qualifications
• Practices good public relations with customers and visitors by answering questions and providing information concerning parking services and traffic regulations
• Patrols metered and monthly parking areas, metered parking areas, and time-sensitive areas; utilizes handheld ticket devices to issue citations for parking violations.
• Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and safety practices
• Attends work regularly at the designated place and time
• Supports continuous process improvement initiatives
• Performs related work as required
• Appears in court as witness against violators (as needed), reports inoperative meters to meter technician personnel, and assists with customer service activities
Salary : $16 - $17
